Hyderabad – Bhutan Road Trip – Tourist Attractions Planning II

Having a decent plan to plan for the Bhutan Trip see my first blogpost on the route plan, time has come to zero down the local attractions and what should be on the to-do list.

But before i acutally go to the details of the to-do list, let me take a stab at accommodation options at my pit stops:

Vishakapatnam: Novotel RK Beach

Bhubaneswar: Mayfair Convention

Kolkata: Novotel Kolkata & Residences

I was thinking if I should have the next stopover at Siliguri or stretch until Phuentsholing, Bhutan and stay there.

Siliguri option: Hotel Sinclair (or)

Phuentsholing, Bhutan: Hotel Druk

After having a decent understanding of where to stay enroute Bhutan, did a bit of Google and was able to find some fascinating information that could be of help on the local attractions and to-do list in Bhutan.

Bhutan Travel Attractions

A important website that I felt could be of great use is the Bhutan Tourism Board site.

Bhutan is divided into three major zones – Eastern, Central & Western Bhutan.

Few major attractions include (as identified from Google): Link

I will be scouting for more information as I firm my plans for the December 2017 trip and do stay connected and visit my blog to know more as I firm up.
